Neko sometimes fancies herself a big cat in the tall grass. August 2010.
On a related note, her leg appears to be healing nicely.
Neko at the window, December 2009.
For some reason she was supporting herself on the windowsill this day; it slayed me.
LB, Lake Rosemound, Louisiana, 2006.
LB was a cat who belonged to Neckgear’s Mom, alas he is no longer with us. His initials stand for “Loverboy,” a nickname acquired by his habit of jumping up on the couch behind you and kneading your shoulders as if giving you a massage.
LB and Ripley were the first I shot in B&W, and I was so pleased with the results that their images have been denoted as “feline noir.” Their abode is rich in textures and their personalities come through even more in the stark contrast of black and white.
